Historic Seattle’s 2018 Exemplary Restoration Award

Colonial Restoration on the Hill wins Exemplary Restoration Award.

This year, 2018, marks the 10th anniversary of Historic Seattle’s Preservation Awards, a program that “showcases and recognizes some of the exceptional public and private projects that preserve and protect Seattle’s built heritage.”

Historic preservation means a lot to us at Board & Vellum. Our office is located on Capitol Hill in Seattle — beautiful historic homes are an important part of the fabric and character of our neighborhood. When one such old gem caught fire, we were saddened along with the rest of the community. Fortunately, through careful attention to detail, and the dogged work and craftsmanship of a dedicated team, the house lives on.

We are thrilled and honored that Historic Seattle has granted 2018’s Exemplary Restoration Award to the PRAG House.

Board & Vellum continues to strive for exceptional restoration and design in the preservation of Seattle’s built environment — we are excited about the prospects for the coming year!
