A Mixed-Use Building on a Triangle Lot

Wedge Apartments

A proposed mixed-use building on a challenging triangle lot.

Sited just off of Fremont’s bustling Bridge Way, this proposed boutique apartment building would activate a long-vacant urban space on a triangle lot with 23 residential units above a ground-floor retail space. The design takes advantage of the site’s unique triangular shape. An open-air stair tower links the retail base with the residential mass above. The building will increase density in the neighborhood with an assortment of Small Efficiency Dwelling Units (SEDUs) and one-bedroom units.
