We are an integrated design team.

From architects, to interior designers, to landscape architects — we’re all here to be your advocate.

Our team is here to answer your questions, guide you through any awesome project you’re thinking of, solve your design challenges, and likely laugh a lot. We have a flat structure, and we’re all trained in helping make your project the best it can be. We’re not your typical design firm, and anyone on our team would love to show you why.

(Where’s our leadership team? Well, we operate a little differently here, and we’re pretty excited about it. Learn more about our flat hierarchy.)

Would you like to learn a little more about us?

Awesome! Feel free to explore the pages below, and — of course — feel free to reach out to us if you have something particular you’d like to ask.

Our Story

Board & Vellum is a young and vibrant firm built on the idea that an informed and engaged team leads to better design and happy clients. We wouldn’t be where we are today without passion and hard work, and those same two things keep us going strong today.

Our Process

Bringing your project from “idea” to fruition is a little different at Board & Vellum. We give personal care to each of our projects, and you’ll be in the loop every step the way. The bonus: we are an integrated firm, so each project has access to plenty of great knowledge — and that leads to better design.

Our Culture

We are changing the game when it comes to what it’s like to work in an architecture firm. We maintain a flat hierarchy, provide great benefits, and everyone has a say in the direction of the firm. Don’t be surprised if you hear laughter ringing through our the office — we have a lot of fun together!

Considering a project? Or, just curious about something?

Send us your questions about design, architecture, interiors, landscape, third places, LEGO rooms… Anything, really. We’re always eager to meet new people, and we’d love to get to know you, your project, and your goals.
