Interior Design & Model Unit Staging
The Eden Interiors
Interior design and unit staging for a refreshed Queen Anne apartment complex.
Originally constructed in the late ’80s (and updated over the years since then) The Eden Apartments were ready for a refresh to suit the Seattle scene of the late 2010s. To attract their target market (young, professional women), the apartment management company, Thrive Communities, developed a branding package to guide the update to both their marketing materials and the apartment complex itself.
Using two “dream tenants” and their backstories as inspiration, we developed a concept for the upgrade of the apartment finishes that reflects a polished, classic, and feminine vibe. Working with the color palette included in the branding package, our interior design team created a coordinating materials and finish palette that includes everything from the tile, to flooring, cabinetry, lighting, and appliances.
While all the units will be upgraded with the new interiors, The Eden also needed a model unit staged to show potential renters how the apartments feel when lived in. Plus, they needed it to use for a photoshoot to market The Eden in digital and print materials.
To create an authentic feel for the model unit, our interiors team traced the thread of the “dream tenants” through time in their theoretical lives, decking out the apartment with furniture, art, accessories, and the accouterments of daily life. The staged model unit is now featured in marketing collateral for The Eden, including their website.
