Using passive sustainable strategies and renewable energy resources, this home responds to the region’s natural beauty while doing minimal damage to the land it sits. Sustainable practices include passive solar, a super-insulated, tight building envelope, local, natural materials, and a geothermal field providing heating and cooling.
