Gabriel Vargas, AIA, LEED AP Homes, NCARB
Associate | Architect
Registered in both Florida and Washington, and a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Homes, Gabriel loves creating projects that are smart, sustainable, timeless, and beautiful. Though specializing in residential architecture, Gabriel’s 15 years of experience have introduced him to all phases of design and construction, as well as to a wide range of projects. From tropical residences to office buildings to industrial and institutional projects — both in the United States and abroad — Gabriel brings a wide breadth of knowledge and understanding to his work. He relishes being able to contribute to the continuous exploration of beauty, spatial and sensorial experiences, and sustainability.
Giving back to the community is a core part of Gabriel’s mission. While in Florida, he co-chaired the Miami Chapter of the AIA Sea Level Rise Task Force. He also served as Disaster Service Worker for the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services in California. In Seattle, he’s always looking for ways to meaningfully give back to the community.
When not dreaming and creating, Gabriel loves spending time with his son and their pets, dancing (Salsa, Cha-Cha-Cha, Bachata, and Merengue), hanging out on the soccer pitch, climbing mountain trails, and trying new foods. But, also, don’t be surprised to find him walking down a city street, always looking up to analyze the details of a building.
