Associate, Landscape & Site Design
Juliana is passionate about creating beautiful and thoughtful designs anchored by environment sensitivity and ecological stewardship. With backgrounds in art, design, ecology, and landscape architecture, Juliana brings a deep well of knowledge and a holistic approach to Board & Vellum’s Landscape & Site Design studio, grounding designs in their larger environmental and community context.
Juliana has experience in both the nonprofit and public sectors. She is well-versed in the jurisdictional and City processes that help an overall vision be executed and holds a Remote Pilot Certificate for the commercial operations of small drones and uses drone technology to help clients and collaborators understand a site’s context from a new perspective.
Juliana earned her Bachelor of Science in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution with a minor in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego and Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington.
Outside of the office, Juliana likes urban sketching, traveling, and indulging in all the delicious food that Seattle has to offer.
