Ada’s Technical Books & Café Wins Historic Seattle Preservation Award

Recognized for “Preserving Neighborhood Character” in 2014.

Historic Seattle's Annual Historic Preservation Awards acknowledge recent successes in the local preservation field.

2014's Preserving Neighborhood Character award was given to Danielle and David Hulton, owners of Ada’s Technical Books & Cafe
— along with supporting partners Board & Vellum and Model Remodel — for preserving and transforming a humble house into an inviting, community gathering place for a unique neighborhood business.

Who are we, anyway? For starters, we are a close-knit team of architects and designers, collaborating in integrated studios on architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture projects. We love what we do, and we have fun doing it. As your advocates, our goal is to help you realize a project that you love.

As a young firm, we are humbled and honored to be recognized in our early years for not only our architecture and design, but for being a great place to work. (Many thanks to all!) Plus, this inspires us to keep pushing forward and be the energy behind the next great project in our community.

Considering a project? Or, just curious about something?

Send us your questions about design, architecture, interiors, landscape, third places, LEGO rooms… Anything, really. We’re always eager to meet new people, and we’d love to get to know you, your project, and your goals.
