2023 REX/T-REX Award for Interior/Exterior Remodel Excellence

The Sand Point Home Theater & Backyard Pavilion is honored with “Residential Remodel Excellence” for an Interior/Exterior Remodel.

Board & Vellum is honored to be recognized by the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties with a 2023 Remodeling/Trades Remodeling Excellence (REX/T-REX) Award in Interior/Exterior Remodel Excellence.

Our honored project is the Sand Point Home Theater & Backyard Pavilion. We met the challenge of creating a beautiful and functional outdoor lounge enjoyable all year long. The fully covered outdoor lounge with surrounding heaters and outdoor fireplace to keep guests cozy and warm, no matter the weather. Calm, toasty neutrals also foster a welcoming feel regardless of the season. The lounge is complete with an entertainment center, kitchen, bar, dining area, and fire pit. Large French doors lead into the kitchen and dining rooms. A new staircase guides guests toward additional amenities in the updated basement.

Projects are judged on aesthetics, unique and clever design solutions, quality workmanship, use of appropriate building material, and budget considerations. We’re honored to be recognized, alongside JM Bogan, Vision Woodworks, and our wonderful clients!
