Zain Bruhn
Associate, Architecture
Zain is a detail-oriented designer who loves to unearth what’s possible in a project. He believes great design starts by understanding what’s “in the box” before exploring what’s possible outside the box. Inclusive and collaborative by nature, Zain is passionate about building open and honest communication with clients. He seeks to create a comfortable space for clients to share goals and needs for their unique circumstances and to build transparency around the design process.
Zain finds inspiration in a project’s constraints and opportunities. An able multitasker, he brings a deep understanding of all project phases, from design through permitting and construction. His experience includes single-family homes and remodels, office spaces, and medical facilities.
Zain earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Washington. He is the proud owner of tiny chihuahua, and beloved office dog, Frida, who brings immense joy (and cuteness!) to the Board & Vellum office.
