Chorizo Stuffing, Whiskey, a Duck and Two Flasks

So, what happened at the first annual Board & Vellum Holiday Party Extravaganza? Glad you asked, because it was a ton of fun! From food, to drinks, to white elephant gift hilarity, we had a fantastic time, and it's going to be a staple event, for sure.

December 23, 2014

When your office grows from 4 to 12 in one year, it is major cause for celebration and the first annual B&V Holiday Party Extravaganza did not disappoint. Complete with a holiday dinner served by the original Skillet food truck, 12 thousand Karaoke songs, a cringe-worthy white elephant gift exchange, homemade ice luge shots and a red carpet entrance, there was something for everyone.

We've learned from our fearless leader to go big or go home! The red carpet arrival looked like a who's who of Hollywood Royalty and former child models.

With a limit of $10 on the white elephant gift exchange, you never know what you're going to get! There were some standouts, some shocking moments, and some stealing... and maybe a little more stealing.

Although they haven't actually started yet, we inducted two new employees to the Board & Vellum family, and managed not to scare them off!

Joining B&V in January!

It was too dark to take photos of the karaoke performances, which only leaves the ominous ice luge. But... we have to keep some of our secrets, so this is the only image you'll get.

Do you Luge?

Happy Holidays from me, Santa, and all of us at Board & Vellum!

Ho Ho HO!

Public Life Study: Professional People-Watching!

Join us! With the Capitol Hill EcoDistrict and the Seattle Department of Transportation, B&V is collaborating on “Public Life Counts!” — a public life study of how our community uses public spaces. Data collected will inform an equitable and holistic planning process to shape active, safe, and well-connected public spaces on Capitol Hill.
