We Are Small Business Proud

We are excited to announce that Board & Vellum is featured on a new web film, Small Business Proud, about the journey of small business owners from Washington to Georgia. Plus, if you get the chance, pop by and hear Jeff speak on a panel with fellow small business entrepreneurs, Matt Dillan and Liz Dunn.

Behold! Board & Vellum is on TV!

Well, on Youtube. But, the Board & Vellum team just took a break to gather 'round the TV in our conference room to watch the video that was filmed at our world headquarters (currently under construction), yesterday.

Take a look! It's a quick peek into our average B&V work day and Jeff gives a great history of the firm in a quick three-minute summary.

We're all really impressed that the short video was filmed, edited, and uploaded to the internet within 24 hours.

The video was shot by a pair of filmmakers - Trisha Dalton and John Sears - who are on a cross country journey to meet and learn about the small businesses that make up "the heartbeat of the American economy." They call their project Small Business Proud, and features a number of videos similar to the one about Jeff, from Washington State to Georgia. What an amazing opportunity to be included!

In a related event, Jeff is speaking tonight in a panel discussion with fellow local small business entrepreneurs Matt Dillan and Liz Dunn.

As a leader in sustainable and green design, Terry has dedicated her 30-plus-year career to finding ways to expand the deep green space. As her retirement approaches, Terry is looking forward to continuing to focus on educating the public and mentoring the next generation of designers to carry on the amazing work she and Living Shelter have started.
