While most people are thinking of cozy indoor spots during these dark, wet days, we’ve had fantastic outdoor spaces on our minds, thanks to B&V’s new Landscape Architecture team.

Although we’ve worked with landscape subcontractors on many past projects, bringing landscape design services in-house has long been one of our #squadgoals. So, we're proud to announce the addition of a whole new team here at B&V: landscape architects Zack Thomas and Derek Reeves! Board & Vellum can now offer an integrated and efficient approach to those projects that include landscape and hardscape elements.

Zack and Derek (or "Zarek," as they're collectively known around the office) previously worked together at GGLO and Land Morphology. They bring with them a wealth of experience that runs the gamut from creating stunning outdoor living spaces and green walls for private residences and multifamily residential buildings, to designing code-compliant streetscapes for downtown retail and hospitality sites.

B&V’s landscape architecture services range from limited consultations charged at hourly rates, to premium service packages that include site planning and design, plant and materials selection, assistance with subcontractor bidding negotiations, permitting, and construction observation.
